A friendly club based on the River Witham in the small market town of Boston, Lincolnshire, offering all aspects of rowing to the community, meeting weekdays from 7.00pm and then from 8.00am on Saturdays with Sundays commencing at 10.30am (more details

The club welcomes all rowers whether they consider themselves as purely recreational rowers, to the highly competitive, or if you just want to have a go, the club periodically  run learn to row courses for adults and juniors during the year, for more information please click here.

Throughout the year there are various rowing events held at the club, either organised and run by the club, or the venue for others.
The main events run by the club are the Boston Rowing Marathon a mere 31 mile race from Lincoln to Boston, which takes place on the 3rd Sunday in September each year, and the Boston Head one of the first head of the river races in January.

GB Senior Trials on a sunny October morningSince 1999 the club has had the pleasure of being the venue for the 5Winter TrialsK winter trials for the GB Squads, and for the first time in 2008 was the venue for the British Universities & College Sports Small Boats Head

 

With the aim of getting more people into the enjoyable sport of rowing, Boston is one of the clubs in the East Midlands region that is part of the Sport England funded Club & Coach Programme. Also the Club has currently achieved Clubmark accreditation, the national award run by Sport England.

 

 Boston Rowing Club is affiliated to  British  Rowing.
